About Pete
I build things, then write down what worked.
I’m Pete Gypps. I run COR Solutions, the managed IT business that looks after UK firms day to day, and I built COR Intelligence, the side that designs software, platforms and AI systems. This blog is where the two meet: the problems we see in real client work, and what we build to solve them.
Every article starts as a job. A client’s problem, a system we are building, a fix we had to find. The writing is the notes I would have wanted at the start.

How I work with AI
I know the major AI systems from the inside: their strengths, their weaknesses, and how to push their output past industry standards. Claude Code and Codex are the daily tools. The deeper work happens on local open-weight models (DeepSeek, Gemma, Llama, Qwen, Phi) running on hardware I own, with harnesses and tooling I build myself.
That shows up in what ships: Mac and Windows software, apps, SaaS platforms and websites. Content, imagery, video, personal avatars. If it can be done with AI, I have done it or tested it. I am looking for AI builders, not just AI users.

What COR does
Two trading names, one team. COR Solutions runs the IT. COR Intelligence builds the systems.
Managed IT support
COR Solutions runs IT for UK businesses: Microsoft 365, security, the kit and the decisions. Calm, reliable, on the end of a phone.
